Observations from a Believer!

Hello,
I found your website through a comment on Andrew Corbett’s website. First of all I see you are from Massachusetts, which is cool because I live here too.

I like the style of your website, it is an old-fashion kind of website designed to inform. You have no ads or tracking that I can see which I think is important particularly when it regards the bible on the internet. You see that it is very common for bible websites to have ads on them, which means those websites are interested in making money off of god. It diminishes the word of god. Furthermore there are many shallow articles or articles which appear shallow once they are full of ads, tracking, newsletter requests,
et cetra. Which all indicate an ulterior or secondary motive instead of solely being focused on god. As you know Jesus hated those who changed money in the temple which I view as akin to profiting off of god or the bible or Jesus. Including in non-monetary ways. Many gain worldly status and power through the aforementioned.

Regarding your website, I appreciate the intention you stated in the mission. The archives are pretty good. I think you stuck to the facts, your earnest perspective supported by the bible and contemplation without veering into opinion and complex theology. To be honest I don’t think you will convince anyone that isn’t a believer but your website is an excellent example of what a Christian can do on the internet. One should go to a Christian website and be able to discern the good motives of the maker of the site and be informed. Maybe your single website will have a wider positive impact.

Thanks, Mason

Response from On-Point

Thank for your feedback.

Your observations are appreciated, and I must admit that the potential for converting non-believers is perhaps not as strong as media aimed directly at that part of the world’s population.
The idea of On Point For Christ is more aimed at dispelling myths and false representation(s) of God’s Word.
Note, that we do plan to publish articles with the hope that those who have not chosen Jesus as Lord & Savior will be able to logically come to their confession of faith.
